Natal with milo wasn't completely real... other people who played the demo said it was nowhere near as responsive as shown (this is only what I've heard though) More than likely someone was in the background helping her out.

If you look at the kid with the skateboard, it scanned the skateboard no problems...but why weren't his fingers shown in as well in the picture on-screen?

I never said anything about games being released this year, either. Just that Sony had a better E3.

no, you said ps3 destroyed 360, then went on to talk about future games coming out for those systems.

...because all the 360 games noted are coming out this month right? Ya...

sony is really fucking up with the PSP go. i hope it flops.

Other than price and the USB connector...how else?

less features, much higher price, proprietary accessories, havent said yet how you will convert your UMD to flash memory (which i will be very surprised if there is no fee for the end user involved).

They are not forcing you to buy the PSPGo. I don't know why everyone is pissed about "What do I do with my UMDs?!". You keep your old PSP to play those.

I wouldn't say it has less features. Outside of the lack of a UMD drive, it's pretty much the same PSP...just smaller/more stylish (which appeals to a lot of people).

As for the higher price, I'm sure it costs them extra to put out a redesigned model of the PSP. Not only that, but 16gb and bluetooth built in adds to that cost as well. For the average consumer that does NOT know about Newegg, they'll be getting ripped off on a 16gb flash card. So, you're essentially paying a bit extra (at least the average user is) for a redesign. And like I said, people will pay extra for pretty.

Proprietary accessories aren't THAT big of a deal, at least compared to some of the other crap Nintendo and Microsoft make you pay extra for ($100 for a wi-fi dongle? No rechargeable batteries built in? etc). I think that's the least of anyone's concern, and it's just a way to nitpick to find a reason to hate something.

UMD conversion will probably be free. If not, that's just plain stupid.

Edit: Truth be told, though, I'm not in love with the PSP Go and will not be buying it. I will consider it once the price is considerably lower.

I honestly think it's a good idea to remove the UMD drive. They still offer the PSP with the drive, and it can download games off the web just fine also. But having a downloadable-only version of the PSP is a good step. One of these days, we won't have physical media, and someone has to be the first to make that step. Sony took a small one, they didn't alienate anyone because you can just buy a PSP3000 with UMD if you want, or a PSPGo. So anyone who want's a PSP has 2 solid choices, and no matter what version you buy, you can play all the games. Small, good step.

No UMD drive + way to transfer UMD games to PSP Go = Pretty much the exact same functionallity. Other than that...I can't really think of anything. Still a good sized screen, yet still more portable...um. I'm at a loss here. I don't think it's really missing features.

well yea i guess i see it as a bad step because i'm against digital distribution for games only, i want physical media.

I'm betting you'll have to send in some registration for the game and are then given the download link (hopefully for free). That's just my guess, though.

You can speculate all you want on how they'll eventually implement it, but it won't be free.

Gotta hand it to Sony, they're delivering a very strong conference. Wish they'd announce Suikoden 2 instead of FF7, though.

Isn't there already a PSP version of Suikoden 2? Or did it never get released in the states?

At least I'm not stating my guess as a fact.
