Looking to purchase a new laptop as my old N3050 is an absolute dog when it comes to the 32GB eMMC drive. I am this close to flinging it out the window. So choices (local AUD prices):

E2-7110 for $400
A6-7310 for $550
A4-7210 for $500

Technically for the laptop forum but I am interested in the CPU grunt. Need something for ebooks, porn and web browsing. According to CPU benchmark the E2 has more than double the benchmarkness of the N3050.

Opinions? The cheaper the better as this laptop is nothing but the basics and I'm not spending $300 more for Intel.

Strongly leaning towards the E2 so far although the A4 has double the RAM and HDD - 8GB/1TB.

I believe all of these AMD laptop processors are slower than the Celeron G1850 you owned before but disliked. I'm confuse, a lot of your replies back to me on how much you tell me to go for the fastest one as best as possible regardless of price, and you believe money grows on trees. Why not go with i7 laptop if cost is not an issue at all? Well, guess what, looks like you're not telling the truth here, and you do care about cost and affordability. I'm in the same situation as well. We can't have everything in the world.

Regarding the price range above, I would stay away any of these. I've seen Lenovo A4-7210 laptops going for $249 around here.

Its a laptop. I'm not spending more on a laptop than a desktop especially as it isn't even my main system.
