is it for real that matters cannot be destroyed but can take on different form? this conflicts with creation theory so i am confused. yet einstein is a genius and he maybe right. so what do ya think?

True, matter cannot be created nor destroyed... That means the entire universe's mass was concentrated in a singularity when it exploded for no reason.

That, or god created everything.

hmm, I'm half way through the 3 hour special "elegant universe" that talks all about the string theory.

My dad keeps telling me it's an amazing theory, but I haven't quite gotten to the meat of it yet I guess. They seem to have spent most of the time spoken on the string theory downplaying it.

Doesn't e=mc2 also say that you cannot go faster than the speed of light, because the faster you go, the more energy you need to keep a constant speed, so the energy you need to go even faster goes up exponentially?

Sorry if that was confusing, Im no physics person

Basically, the reason Star Trek needs a warp engine, because they cannot normally go faster than the speed of light.

I love reading about the first few seconds of the universe. I remember reading a book titled "Atlas of the Fourth Dimension", it was extremely fascinating.
From what I remember, there wasn't any new matter actually created, but there was certainly a lot of changing. Molecules and atoms and stuff didn't exist at the extreme beginning.
