i have not opened the Attachemant, but that is kurios, i not use IE, i am using Mozilla Firebird, and who in the hell does MS have my E-mail.

i think that is a fake, so patient all Members here.

Yeah....there was a rash of fake emails coming from "Microsoft" a couple of weeks ago.

All the emails I get from MS directs me either to windows update or an MS website to download the patch. I have never recieved a email from MS with the patch attached to the email

Do NOT open it. Not only is it fake, it contains a VIRUS! :|

MS does NOT send updates or patches via email, nor do they send emails unless you've signed up for a newsletter.

go to www.sarc.com it is #1 on the recent threat list.
( i had 26 copies in my admin mailbox today. i sent file to symantec to identify - they sent a beta definition file. i hope none of my users clicked on it - typically all virus are scrubbed before they ever get to a user....)

I noticed that Symantec had a small "definition" update yesterday. 😉
