e-machines - Proprietary ?

I am needing to replace the power supply in an e-machine model T2890.

Can anyone tell me if any of the components in these machines are of a proprietary nature ?

Thanks.

Standard ATX. Just be mindful of depth. Try to stay under 6" deep or you're right up against the back of the optical.

What about the pin outs for motherboard and other items?

My dell is ATX sized PSU but has its own motherboard connector

The newer eMachines, after Gateway aquired the company, uses standard parts. Standard PSU, standard ATX motherboard from either MSI, FIC, Foxconn, etc.... ALL standard parts. They are MUCH better than they were when they were owned/operated by the Koreans. I've actually bought four or five of them for different family members when it simply didn't make sense to buy the parts to build the PC (would have cost me much more $$$ to build the same thing). One of these PC's has a Corsair VX450, the other has a BFG GS-550, two of them have upgraded PCIe graphics cards.... it's all standard stuff.
