a buddy of mine make small items and would like to sell them via the web. basically what is needed is a very simple script that allows the admin to setup up each individual item, put in a price, and the add quantity on hand. then as a patron purchases the item, the new amount is listed of qty on hand on the website, and then when it reaches 0 the purchase button greays out or something like that.
this person would like to have it be able to utilize paypal and really not even be responsible for any of the data, and just get an email from paypal saying item xxx has been bought and paid for, and then he can go into paypal, make a shipping label and be done with it.
this site will be a ssl site and the current webserver he has has apaches 2.2.x/mysql 5.x/php 5.x
also, he sells his items with the price already reflecting shipping and only ships usps priority, so again, this seems to be a very simple setup, hell if i had the time i would make it a static page and then update it, but he moves a bit so the only real thing he needs is the automated inventory reduction once a sale is made.
