Dyson + all tile house

Would a Dyson work for an all tile house? What I mean work is would it clean just as good as if it were a carpeted house? Was Dyson vacuums made to clean/suck off of a tile floor? Thanks!

A dyson will work, but not that well.

The main problem with tile is the grout. The dyson will remove surface dirt, but cleaning the grout and stuck on dirt is more difficult.

Get a dedicated hard floor cleaner.

For the grout, either paint it with enamel paint or break out the toothbrush and grout cleaner every once in awhile.

Dyson works great on carpets, but I wouldn't use it if I only had tile/wood floors.

yea it cost much more, and only had average cleaning/suction. the hoover windtunnels were better and cheaper. dyson gets by on being neat looking and with marketing bs.

It works extremely well. Have you used one?

no, no one i know wastes that much on vacumns, but i do know that dysons done poorly twice in consumer reports already, and the new one with the ball isn't even easy to control, and none have top level suction, so the claims do seem to be all marketing lies by dyson. that and i know in marketing studies they show that appearances do effect perception. and consumer reports isn't out to get dyson. i trust their tests on home appliances as they've been testing them for decades now.

sorry u are just getting desperate now. "the one" isn't in consumer reports let alone as one of the top. the windtunnel series is what bean dyson, and one of the windtunnels was actually #1. i've never heard of the website you posted, i somehow doubt it has the history and record of consumer reports. and even if it were true, it doesn't change the fact that the dyson is just an average performing vacumn cleaner with a premium price.

Meh, I expect you'd tell me my car was crap, too without ever driving one like it Just because 'you' can't justify the price tag, that doesn't mean it's instantly no good.

I justified it, paid it and saw results. It's not like I had never used a vacuum before. I had quite a few frames of reference. But you know best, because the price is a little high.

OK. Let's all just buy a $20 cleaner and hope for the best, eh?
