get the warranty and this is pretty good deal

I did and it was. My first time around there was one stuck pixel which wasnt a big deal but within 30 days turn it back and get another. It is big so it was a pain to take back but on the second try it was all good.

So if you buy this right now w/ a 10% coupon is there any risk if a BF deal comes up? I have not purchased anything at BB in like 5yrs because there prices are so non competitive.... 30 day return w/ no questions asked or is it only like 14 days like CC now does?

For right now 120hz really doesnt help you, but you never know in the future

However my friend has a 120hz bravia and it looks damn good (but i dont think it has much to do with the 120hz)

A 120Hz display is useful if you have a Blu-ray player that can output the raw 24fps data contained on the disc. With a regular 60Hz display, the player alternates between repeating each image frame 2 and 3 times (2,3,2,3,2,3,etc) in order to be able to sync up with the 60Hz display rate. When the player outputs the raw 24fps data to a 120Hz-capable display, the display repeats each frame 5 times (24x5=120). This results in uniformly smooth motion on the display. This is most noticable during long slow sideways panning scenes in movies. On a 60Hz display, it will look like the image is a little jerky. Most of us have gotten used to this, but when you watch the same scene on a 120Hz (or 72Hz) display, it looks a whole lot more natural.

This TV is a great bargain at this price. This TV is a lot better then you would expect for a sub $1000 unit. Go and see for yourself. I got this unit for my bedroom and it far exceeded my expectations. Even the HD cable installer was shocked how good it was for the money. Remember that the price, it's a budget TV not a Kuro so don't expect Kuro type colors and contrast (which is plasma anyways). The 2 largly negative things to me was an ugly design and crap speakers. Both of which don't mean much to me since the design doesn't matter more the image quality and I almost never use built in speakers anyways.

Simply put, it's a great deal. When I personally compared this in 3 stores, it was the best sub $1200 unit in my opinion. The fact that it was the cheapest was just gravy. Go read comments on AVS forums for more info.

I doubt they can sell this unit any cheaper. I got it for a similar price several months ago with a 12% off coupon. This price is comparable to a name brand 32' 720p plasma but at about 8 feet or more you will def want 42'over a 32' imo and its LCD. I would say that my parents Samsung has many more feetures like displaying channel information and tv guide functions but this is still a great price.

was going to pick one up last nite, but family emergency prevented that, and now the 10% off coupon has expired :-(

I just went to BB this morning. Considered biting, but these are fugly TV's....... Still a good deal, but you never can tell w/ the displays. Both the 1080P LCD and the Plasma 720 are on sale in store. Funny because the Plasma was noticeably better in Sports and then all of a sudden they went to "discovery" or something and it was noticeably better with teh 1080P IMO.......

got one on friday. OTA HDTV picture quality is good. Need to upgrade my porn collection to HD to fully appreciate this tv.
