Dynasty Warriors Question

I've been a huge Dynasty Warriors fan since PS2. Now i'm trying to decide which DW game to get for my PS3..So of all of the Dynasty Warriors games: Strikeforce, Dynasty Warriors 6, and EMpires...which is the best and why? Also, what are the differences? Thanks!

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 1 and 2 are decent enough as Dynasty Warriors; however, they are the best Gundam games ever made, but that isn't saying much.

Of the three listed, 6 is the most "traditional". I think there's a demo for Strikeforce on PSN; I found it to be a little weird.

That said, the Gundam ones are good too. 🙂

DW6 is a lot like the others, but it adds ladders and I think swimming. I haven't played much of it (I have it on the 360). I never got Strikeforce, but I heard it adds some more interesting combat aspects. I think both games actually have demos, but I'm not 100% certain on DW6 having one.

Endless Duel was a good fighting game, but I still think I found DW:G to be more fun overall given how it felt a lot like an AC Gundam series ( uber powerful mecha vs lots of little crap mechas ).

EDIT:

An interesting tidbit, I got so into playing DW:G that it's the first console game that I've beaten since starting WoW 5 years ago 😱. I own DW:G2 but I haven't gotten around to playing it 🙁.

DW6, without a doubt. I have Empires, too, but honestly, I don't play it much. I want to try Strikeforce, though.

Its amazing how Koei released the exact same fucking game 10+ times with little to no improvements,, and I STILL BOUGHT each iteration.
