Dynamic.anandtech.com - what does it do?

I don't get pages hanging up...maybe you should check your cache/cookies to see if they are causing the problem.

I guess it could also just be the craptacular campus network here. There are days when it makes me yearn for the speed of my trusty 56k connection that I used to have a few years ago back home.

I try not to use it on Anandtech, because they generally try to keep visually offensive ads to a minimum. Some I will block, like some of those damn ads that had some women shooting two pistols. The constant flashing was just plain irritating.
Advertisers who want to sell products, sure, show your ads. Advertisers who seem to want to piss off people - they get blocked.

I don't get pages hanging up...maybe you should check your cache/cookies to see if they are causing the problem.

I don't know why they'd cause a problem. If anything, wouldn't cache help speed things up?

Has this been happening only recently? I'm having an occasional problem with pages only loading the top Anandtech bar.

Mine gets hung on some thing like ads#.anandtech.com. I just figured the ads were hanging it up. No biggie.

Same thing happens to me. On both my work PCs and my home PC. And it happens on virtually EVERY page load. Started a few weeks ago I think. I usually have to refresh the page.
