Regular cab or xcab?
I used it on my doors and behind the seat of my reg cab. It made a noticable difference. There is a lot of road noise that comes up between the bed and the cab. I also pulled the carpet, put down jute padding, put down dynamat around the shifter and put the carpet back down.

There are a lot of threads on the newsgroup rec.audio.car that give lower cost alternatives to the Dynamat brand including using the roofing product "ice and water shield" which can be bought cheaply(note: some ice and water shield material can have a petroleum smell when new).

2 sq. ft. dynamat extreme panels will run you about $20, the regular dynamat about $15 I believe. It didn't do much for my car though but ymmv
