Dying Router?

Hi all,

My D-Link DIR-625 router will no longer connect to my wireless laptops using WPA security. I've tried deleting and re-entering the passphrases on all the devices and it still won't work. This happened after my UPS backup crashed and took down my desktop and the router.

Is this thing starting to die? I've been building and using computers for years but this is my first home network so I don't know what to do to diagnose and treat this problem or if I should just go and buy another router. Any advice would be welcome.

TIA,
Deb

First thing I'd do is reset the router to its factory defaults and give it another try.

Word.

Second thing you need to do is go to D-Link's site and check to see if there is a firmware upgrade available. Lots of times, a few minutes installing a new firmware package fixes a whole host of issues.
