I hope they keep the item/quest in the game permanently. I'm glad Blizzard did this, shows some character for the company.

so it's true... kids do play hunters the most!

groggy and weak in the hospital, Chatterton only wanted to play the massively multiplayer online game World of Warcraft.

Kudos to Blizzard for doing what they did, but I still find this extremely sad.

I hope you mean sad in that the poor kid has to deal with dying that young and not sad in that he likes video games. I'm going to pretend that is what you mean at least.

yeah theres a million better things to do before you croak than play WoW. infact theres a million better things to do than play WoW even if your fit and well, its a terrible life curbing game.

its like smoking....only smoking ****** your lungs and with recent legislation makes you an outcast, being addicted to WoW basically turns you into a fat chuffing no-hoper with zero motivation to do anything else.

A lot of sick people rely on video games to help deal with the pain of their illness as well as do things they wouldn't normally be able to do because of their health. Fsck you short sighted retards for not being able to figure that out without an explanation.

What do you think the Penny-Arcade toys for tots drive is all about. Delivering video games to kids stuck in hospitals so that they have an outlet.

This kid is in a friggen wheelchair with massive headaches and will die at some point. God fscking forbid he has 1 thing he enjoys.

The key to enjoying life is happiness. So what if someone's definition of happiness doesn't match yours, let them have their way and you have yours. So if some kid that is dying finds enjoyment in playing WoW, so be it. Sure he could do other things if he isn't stuck to a hospital environment, he could go out and travel to see the world and meet new people etc. Guess what though, if that is not as enjoyable as playing some game, then it isn't worth it. I'm not saying hey WoW is better than everything else in the world, because I got burnt out and don't play anymore, but I don't regret the time spent playing it.

So if it makes the kid happy, so be it. Personally I try to balance life with my gaming habit by going on rides on my bike, working out, spending time with the g/f etc. That is what makes me happy but before, I could care less about anything other than playing games, so be it... I was happy then and am so now. Besides, what else is there to do, go socialize and spend all your nights out? It gets old... fast. Besides... gaming is better for your health than drinking and smoking amongst other things you'll find in the social scene!

I would think that even though he is a dying kid, he's still a kid - doing what you would normally like is probably a good distraction from the thought of dying. No one wants to spend their last months acting like they are dying.

Who was a kid that liked to go out and see the world, meet other people, and look at strange things around the world! Not a single damn kid likes that stuff so why do some of you retards think this kid should do it instead of doing what he likes to do which is play World of Warcraft! Get a flicking clue you dumb arse! He is ten years old and he can not drive himself, he can not drink, he can not smoke, he can not buy his own plane ticket, he can not even go anywhere without a parent present, and from what it seems like since he is in a wheelchair so I am guessing he can not walk very well ethier... so what the hell can he do? Yes he can have parents or relatives take him around the world or even go to six flags but if you go to a public place like six flags looking like a cripple everyone around you will treat you like a cripple and gock at you which would remind him of he is dying! God some of you people have no flicking brains!

Sunfury bow has existed in WoW for a bit. Also, it doesn't shoot flaming arrows so I doubt it :p.

Looking at his armory... wtf is up with the spell crit and spell damage gem . He's a huntar!

EDIT: He also doesn't have Improved Conc or Hawk Eye for his talents!! Bad Tigole, you should've helped him spec better :p.

Kudos to Blizzard for making a kid happy. I would love to see some pics of what the kid created.
