Recently a text document "dxva_sig" keeps appearing on my desktop. It appears after watching movies or even playing games, and even when I delete it it comes back the next time. Inside the text document all it says is "B"

My system specs if it helps:
Opteron 170
2GB G-Skill pc-3200
74gb raptor
(2) 250gb 7200rpm satas
(2) evga 7800GT CO in SLI
Soundblaster XFi Platinum
Liteon 16x DVDRW
BenQ 8x DVDRW
DFI Lanparty UT SLI-DR
Antec 550W PS
Thermaltake Big Typhoon CL-P0114 120mm CPU fan

Does anyone know how to get rid of this?

Thanks for your help

I had that problem. Updated to windows media player 10, and problem solved. Supposedly it has something to do with a missing codec, that gets installed with the newer version of media player.

Well is it a problem that I don't have Windows Media Player on my computer? I removed it and use Winamp Pro instead.

I also have the K-Lite Mega Codec pack along with the expansion update, is the codec missing from this also?

Run the program dxdiag.exe (should be on your pc). Start/Run/Dxdiag

Go to the Display tab. Disable "AGP Texture Acceleration". See if that fixes the issue. You have PCI-E video cards, not AGP, right?
