DX8.1

I was wondering if it's worth installing dx8.1 over the dx8.0? Is there really a difference? Which detonator supports it....does the 23.11?

Um, I could be wrong but as far as I know, nVidia cards have very limited support for version 8.1 or none at all. So there's probably no point but don't trust me.. wait for a few more replies

It always pays to have the latest version. I would definitely upgrade if I were you.

nVidia cards have great DirectX 8.1 support.

i have the old 21.81 det drivers, those probably won't support dx8.1.. are the new 23.11 good for like just 2-d quality wise? I don't want to change from 21.81 w/ dx8.0 to 23.11 w/ dx8.1 and then have the 2-d be worse since i don't play any games. I have a gf gts 32 ddr with w2k.
