So we got a wireless router (WRT54g) and this card for one of the PCs.
Got WEP set up on the router and the mac address filter, works fine for the rest of the PCs using MS USB 802.11g cards
The PC with the above mentioned card will connect to the network, but overnight will drop the connection and not connect to the router anymore
OR
If I reboot and connect to another PC on the LAN and try to do a file transfer of about 400 MB, 60% through the transfer it will drop the connection and refuse to see the router anymore!
I have got the latest drivers from the d-link website and everything and I still dont know why!!
Is there a D-link <-> Linksys problem OR is it something to do with the PC
Also the OS(XP Pro) was reinstalled once due to a HDD crash.
I'd really appreciate you guys thoughts on this and any ideas you might have for me to fix this problem.
