So which would you be and why?

Dwarfs are pretty much immune to magic and are physically strong, but they are short, ugly and live underground. Their women look pretty much like the dudes, beards included. Generally foul tempered though loyal to allies. Can live a couple centuries. Other races generally consider dwarfs grumpy, dirty and obsessed with geology. Good with their hands, crafts and machinery, call them for tech support.

Elves are graceful and knowledgeable, and have a varied economic options. Tend to live in tree-cities so must like the outdoors. Good with bows and magic but when they go bad they become orcs, so there's that. Chicks can be smoking hot and tend towards asian features so best your preferences align. Have pointy ears but don't know the neck pinch. Very long lived, many centuries possible. Often viewed with envy by other races, elves are frequently considered the elitist assholes of the fantasy pantheon due to a combination of their long lives, their penchant for racism, and their incessant singing and preaching about mother earth or whatever.

And Humans. I think you know what they're like. The best and worst of all worlds combined. Their capacity for love, kindness and greatness is only matched by their ability to wreck everything they hold dear through ignorance and destructive tendencies. War is every man's second language, though human poets and artisans achieve works that impress even the other races. Live about a century max though the last quarter of life mobility is limited. Tend to be the race from which both the big bad villian and the lost scion savior will emerge. They also get +1 skill point per level.

BS, everyone knows that orcs are born from mud.

but when they go bad they become orcs, so there's that.

When they go bad they become drow.

Dwarf women look like men, gay.
All elves are kinda gay.

Humans are the only race where you can be straight.

Elf is a superior version of a human, so why would human be better?

Couldn't be an elf or a dwarf, because then I need an skid plate to keep my enormous schlong from dragging on the ground.

You can always go interspecies, though you will be looked down upon by both your people and your lover's, and your children will grow up as outcasts. This will engender a difficult childhood for them but they will learn perseverence and inner strength. Additionally they will benefit from both you and your mate's racial characteristics. Frequently become rogues or thieves or exotic courtesans. Though a human-dwarf halfbreed whore is a sorry person indeed.

Humans, due to their shorter life span, live with an urgency and verve nearly incomprehensible to an elf. No elf would skydive for fun. Elves are measured in temperament and coupled with centuries of life can get rather boring. A dinner party of elves can put you to sleep faster than a draught of wildwood nectar.

Since dwarfs are know to be of short stature it's a given that that schlong does not take long to touch the ground. :sneaky:

What, no Giant in the polls? Fail.

no option for hobbit? fail!

Occasionally dwarven children are not wanted by their parents, but abortion is a strict societal taboo among the short folk. Instead they raise the babies in darkness and breed them for hairy feet. Thus it is true that the resulting people over hundreds of generations could qualify as a new race of retarded weaker dwarves known as hobbits but I chose omit the non-primary races, and other non-humanoid races like giant spiders, out of the poll. Dragons were included instead of the 'who gives a shit' option.

I'm currently playing a Warforged Paladin in Pathfinder. I'm immune to all diseases, don't have to breath, sleep, eat, or drink. My DM allowed me to take away the charisma minuses, so I started with a 20 for strength, a 20 for CON, and 16 for charisma. The Eberron substitution levels in allowed me to use my CON bonus for my lay on hands, which means I have 7 per day at this level.

I have a +1 great sword, can regenerate HP a lot, have high save bonuses, and just generally lay waste to my foes.
