wow. that thing costs $7. that's crazy. it comes free with any ati dvi video card.

not if you buy the card OEM...

I bought my ATI card before the prices dropped, so I went OEM


Now the retail one costs less than my OEM LE did...

but I had no way of knowing the prices were going to drop, I bought my card like 1-2 weeks before the GF4 announcement

Belkin also makes a really nice adapter...actually they make adapters that go both ways so you can use a Flat panel DVI monitor with a analog connect or the other adpater that takes a DVI connection and makes it into an Analog connection.

I picked up one of the Belkin DVI to VGA adapters for my computer for dual monitor purposes. Belkin makes good stuff...I use one of their switches too for my two comps.
