DVI Input worth $120 ? Samsung 712N vs T

I basically have the option to get a 712N for $250 ( After dealing with some rebate stuff, cost is $420 before rebates with tax ) or a 710T for $370 outright. I am just wondering if the DVI input on the 710T would be worth the extra 120. From what I can see, other than the input the displays are identical.
 
Interesting, I wasnt aware display size made a difference. I have read several online LCD buyers guides and posts that say "MAKE SURE TO GET DVI!!" but never really go into detail why, or quantify the worth of the feature.
