I currently have a bfg 6800gt oc it has a DVI-I dual link and the monitor i have on order (Viewsonic VP912B) has a DVI-D is this a problem? If it is a problem what can i do to fix it?
anybody second this or know different btw i realize this may be a dumb question but i was just really nervios about a 655 dollor monitor not hooking up to my dvi
yeah this is true. Single link will have half the pins thats the difference between single and double. One of the DVI configuarations has a cross on the side and one is a horizontal pin. DVI-D and DVI-A respectively. DVI-I is pretty much the universal adapter that will accept both.
