dvdrw problems

i have a brand new liteon dvdrw. i can record on dvd-r disc, but i cant burn on dvd+rw disc. it is a dual layer burner that uses the dvd+rw medium but when i try to burn on the rw disc, it says the disc is either full or wrong type of disc. any help?

which application are you using to burn?

Have you tried a different brand of media. Your drive just might not like that particular RW media.
