DVDROM Clicking when disc inserted

Is this normal? Whenever I insert a DVD (or CD) into my Macbook, I heard some moderately loud clicking noises as it loads the disc. It seems to work fine, but the noise worries me.

I've got like 5 days left on AppleCare :x
 
Doesn't it normally do that?

From all of the MacBooks that I've touched, it does that while inserting, ejecting and after waking from sleep.
 
Yea, my MacBook did that from day one, never had a problem with the drive, and my sister who has the macbook now, says it is still doing ok.
