DVD writer +External enclosure?

I recently purchased an internal DVD writer (Mediastore) for $50 and would like to put it in an external case. Do any of the eternal cases support DVD writers? the only thing I could find was that they support DVD-ram drives.
Any suggerstions or comments would be appreciated.

You can use almost any 5.25" case that supports IDE devices, but if youre going the USB route youll want one that supports 2.0 (and your comptuer too) to take advantage of your drive's speed. Take a look on Newegg.
