DVD won't play certain DVDs...

Now whats odd is that Windows Media Player can ID the DVD and even download the relevant information. Just when I hit play it doesn't. The rest of the DVDs in the set (a ST collection) work just fine.

Options? Just replace the drive?

Have you tried to play the disc in another media player, like VLC?

OK.

VLC will play the DVD in question without issue. Windows Media Player just knows its loaded but clicking play won't do anything.

so, I am going to be using VLC, can I get it to go full screen (without top/bottom bars)

Right click on the screen, Fullscreen. Then right click again and play iwth the aspect ratio. 22:100 is good for a 16:10 to 16:9, and 16:9 fits widescreen TV's perfectly.
