DVD-VCR Combination Player

Currently I am looking to purchase a DVD-VCR Combo for my girlfriend's birthday. What is recommended in the sub $100 range? I own a Sanyo DVW-7100 which has been great so far (knock on wood). Sony, Toshiba, Phillips, Sanyo, Panasonic, JVC, RCA?

I have a Sony one I bought when Kmart charged to Sears essentials. I bought it for $68.00. It has been pretty good on the DVD side, but the tape side is meh and programming the VCR is a hassle in its self. That said, everyone has told me that combo units have so-so vcr's.

My parents have a cheap one (forget the brand). The DVD player is fine, and the VHS works but sometimes tapes get caught when you eject them. Its like they come out at an angle and get caught on the side of the player.

I bought this one.

Really dont use it too much, but got it at Target for $75 or something. Only reason I bought it was because I could never find a DVD player with a coax output for my old TV. And it seems we still have a few VHS my wife likes to watch, so killed 2 birds withone stone.
