I got the same DVD player back from the black friday thanksgiving deal.
It will be a decent dvd player if you're just looking for a player that plays DVD, but if you also want this thing to play VCD as well, then this is not the way to go. The frame lags very bad while playing VCD.

It might be the cdrs you are using.

I got this DVD player a while back.

If all you want is playback it should work fine but I have a problem FFing and RWing.

Sometimes when I FF or RW, the player resets and goes back to the main splash screen forcing me to FF back to the spot I was at before. It is very annoying when it does this.
