I have a Hollywood Plus Decoder Card, a SBLive! Value and a Ati Xpert. Now the trouble is that the DVD's play fine but I dont get any audio. what could be the problem? I have PC Works Four Point Surrouns FPS1000. I do get the audio when I play Video CD's though. Please help. I use the default DVD playback s/w provided with the card and I use Win2k.

any suggestions greatly appreciated.

oops! didn't know tht I have to hook up the speakers to Decoder card. I didn't hook up the decoder card to the sound card. Dunno how it's done:eek: well the speakers have 2 connecters - one is green and is labelled (F)and the other is black and labelled (R) I presume this stands for Front and Rear respectively. I connected the (F) to the green socket and the (R) to the black one. wht did i do wrong?

P.S. can anybody with an identical setup help me out with the connections?? I would appreciate any help.
