hey, what do you guys use to play your dvd's with lowered machine. what's the fastest dvd player/codec software. powerdvd seems to run dvd's kinda choppy.

Yep PowerDVD is much better than WinDVD, IMO. How much RAM are you dealing with, and are there any other apps running? I have run PowerDVD on a 650Mhz Duron with no problems.

If you are looking for something free, you can google for VLC.
