DVD shrink help

I'm haveing a problem with DVD shrink. I've backed up plenty of DVD's without a problem before, but i now i am getting an error. There are two errors i am getting.

1. Failed to read drive E: cannot coutinue becasue of I/O device error
2. and the other one is something about data error(cyclic redundundancy check)

does anyone have any idea's?
 
Dirty or scratched disc, or dying drive.

CRC error means the data being read is corrupted. For example the data reads as 1,1,1 but the checksum says it should be all 0s.
