So I'm hoping Someone will have something for this but I have a spindle of dvd-rw's and my lite-on burner burning with sonic 6. When i burn a dvd-rw it says its done and fine but my dvd player does not recognize it and then when i put it back in my computer that doesnt recognize it either. Anyone have any ideas?

mainly movies that i have the vob file for. But i tried data once on them and not even that worked. I might try again this afternoon. I use Sonic Mydvd 6 if that makes any difference but i tried dvd cloner and dvd fab

tried it...same problem...sometimes it wont even recognize that the dvd is in the drive since it hasnt formatted it yet

Are u thinking of rewriting on the disk? Is that why you are using the DVD-RW? If so, you might want to format it first. If you only burn once, you should use a DVD-R/+R instead. If you are using Sonic MyDVD, you are trying to make a DVD, so you should just use a regular dvd-r/+r. Also, if you have the cheap brand of media, it tends to give you some problem too. Which model of the liteon burner do you have? I used to have a 411s and an 851s. I had some problem with cheap dvd-r disks.
