DVD/RW combo not reading burned DVD's

My DVD/RW combo LG GCC-4521B doesn't want to read burned DVD's, it only reads DVD-ROMs (original DVDs). The specifications says that it supports DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW and DVD-ROM, all the formats except DVD-RAM, but the DVD's i'm trying to read are not DVD RAM. Besides there are reports that these units are able to read DVD-RAM.

Is there someone with the same drive having this problem??? Please. If you have this drive tell me if you are having or not this problem.

So it does not read burned DVD -R or DVD+R discs?Hmmm sounds like faulty drive to me,all you can do is try latest firmware update for your drive and see if that improves the situation,if not RMA the drive for a replacement.

Firmware updates for LG/HLDS/Goldstar GCC-4521B

You can download Everest first, and see what firmware version you've already got.
Run the program; the firmware version should be visible:
Storage -> ASPI -> Rev column
