DVD-Rom & Spray Paint...

Hmmm, well I spray apinted my white dvd-rom to match my black case, and it worked fine, except that I have to push the button quite hard for the drive to open. How can I just make it easier to open? I have a NEC DV-5700A that came with my Dell if that helps.

Either sand the perimeter of the hole where the push button protrudes or sand down the button itself.
 
Dude, I REALLY hope you completely took apart the face plate before painting. Did you take out the button before you spray painted it?
