DVD ROM Advice

I like Pioneer's error-correcting (and on their 116/s, the slot-loading mechanism as opposed to the tray) and Lite-On's fast digital audio extraction. Right now I love my Lite-On - it's quiet and does relatively well with error-correction. It's annoying when SmartRipper doesn't complete ripping a DVD I'm trying to back up because the DVD is so scratched, and I've really considered picking up the Pioneer just to see if it does any better, especially since I don't use DAE all that much anyhow. IMHO, you really can't go wrong with either one.
