DVD Ripping with dual processors

I have a dual Palimino mobo andi want to rip dvd's so I can watch them on my computer obviously without the disc. If someone could tell me what program i could use and if there isn't one that can use both of my processors, one that acn use the majority or all of the processing power of one of them. I just want a good, fast ripper that can either use both or one of my proc's.
I don't want to do anything illegal with the ripped dvd either so don't get all moral on me with the, "that's not legal and your probably going to give to other people ont the internet junk". I'm on dial-up, so I'm not going to give anybody anything over the internet.

if u just wanna rip the movies without encoding them to mpeg-4 format, just use something like DVD Decrypter...it's the best IMO.
there's a ton of places that tell u how to rip and encode divx...divx is the mpeg-4 format (hacked) msot people use to convert DVDs into smaller sizes.
