i need to rip a 30 second clip from a dvd to use for my presentation, but i dont know how to just get a certain section from a movie. cuase i need to use it in a powerpoint presentation.
You can also use DVDAuthor to do the same thing. You may also be able to use TMPGENC to convert just the section you want to MPEG1. The problem I've had with DVDShrink and cutting out a scene is that it doesn't always cut with the correct info in the output file. When you try and open it with another tool, you might get an error that's it not valid. Using DVD Author works perfect for me.
