DVD reading problem on PC

I have problems reading the DVD "Constantine" on my PC.

Same happened with "Berserk".

However, these two titles are read perfectly on my DVD Player, just not on my PC's DVD+/-RW; I know this is a new kind of protection; is there any way arround it?

Can anyone point me a place to get better facts?

I appreciate your time.
 
some drives are better at reading damaged media or poorly burned media. I doubt that these are NEW factory pressed DVDs.
 
I've tried the firmware update with no avail.

Also, the media is not deffective at all, since it is read perfectly on my LG DVD Player... and my SONY DVD+/-RW reads perfectly any other titles (not as new).
