If I am posting on wrong forum please either delete or move this post.

I am thinking about purchasing a DVD-R drive. My parents own a car dealership and I was thinking about taking photos on a digicam of many different angles, exterior, interior, etc. and making a DVD out photos.

Compared to video DVD-R is this hard to do? Is it possible? I want to create your basic DVD menu and have the ability for the user to navigate through/around the car on the DVD.

I hope I haven't confused anyone. Any help is appreciated. And any suggestions or deals on DVD-R burners I'd love to hear about.

One last thing: What is the difference between DVD-R and DVD+R?

Thanks!

authoring a DVD-R and DVD+R makes no difference at all.

there's no much difference between the two. Some say that the -R format is more compliant than +R. But if you have a fairly old dvd drive or standalone product the -R is suppose to be more compatible.

Ive made DVD Videos in -R and +R and they both play in my 5 year old stand-alone dvd player.
