Found some reviews on these, so far nothing positive on them....

MEdia comes in 50pack spindles. I was able to purchase a store rebundled 10 pack. Used 9 so far.
3 of speciments wouldn't complete a burn. 6 did complete a burn, but of those 4 were not completely readable. I was able to pull a directory off the discs, but attempts to read the data were mixed, as some files could not be read off the disc. The transfer would get to 30-50% and error out.
Despite media being rated for 1x-2x-4x, Nero only reports 2x being available for this media.
Additional information:
Burnt with LG GSA-4040B at 2x using firmware 302A.

Authoring/Burning comments:

The Ultran discs are the worst I've ever encountered.
Not only for drive compatibility but in error rates. Out of a 10pack, I had 5 that burned "successfully", 2 that didn't complete the burn, and 3 that I've not used yet. Of the 5 that completed a burned, 2 of those were unreadable. These weren't anything weird like game backups or movie copies, these were data backups burned as straight data DVDs. You'd be able to pull a clean directory read off them, but reading the actual files would crap out part way through on some files. Luckily, I checked these before putting them away.
Also, while rated for 4x, they won't burn faster than 2x on my drive. Admittedly, my drive is a bit picky on media (the infamous 4040B) but up until now, it still managed to do a functional burn, just at a slower speed. This is the first time I've encountered media that was semi-readable after a "successful" burn.
