DVD quality looks like VCD ( ATI 4780 )

I just bought a new computer. With Ati 4870 512mb and Samsung t240 lcd monitor.
I'm trying to watch dvd's but the quality is weird..it looks like kinda vcd and it looks like edge antialiasing or so i can't describe it right now..or maybe its field problem i dont know..can anyone help please?

Sounds like a deinterlacing issue. What player are you using? And is automatic deinterlacing enabled in CCC?

It's a scaling problem. Also PowerDVD is more than likely the best DVD player software for ATI cards.

i tried it with both Windows media player and VLC. But the problem is, every video file is the same. Not only dvd's. There is something wrong with the quality.
