i had LG GSA 4120B dvd burner, and i had the lastest firmware. But all the burning software i try, it doesnt detect my cd-rw. it can detect my cdrw when it have file on it. but when i try to put in empty one, it wont detect anymore. It can burn my dvds though... so any1 can help me?
my spec: amd 64 3000+, alone with windowxp pro, msi neo platium 250gb....
 
when you say "all the burning software" I'm assuming you tried nero. how do you have the drive hooked up? by any chance do you have it hooked up to a secondary set of ides/optional raids? i'd stick with Lite-on in the future..............
