DVD player with karaoke functionality

My parents are into karaoke. This makes for a comical scene but some technical difficulties.


My mother recently purchased a Singing Machine karaoke system as a gift for my father.

Problem is it only plays CD and CD+G. Most of his karaoke discs are VCD or DVD.

Recommendations on a DVD/VCD/CD player with karaoke functionality?
