DVD Playback problems - interlacing issues at full screen.

I recently purchased and setup a Dell 2001FP which is attached to my 6800GT via DVI. When running DVDs at full screen (in both WMP and WinDVD) the image becomes distorted. The interlacing (or de-interlacing as the case may be) seems to be off. I have a feeling it has something to do with the overlay functionality of the driver, but I'm not sure what I should try to change.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Installing the 67.02 drivers (from Guru3D) resolved the problems.
 
is it safe to assume the 67.66 are even newer drivers ?

Iwill have this monitor Saturday so Iwant to go and get the best drivers
I had the latest but it seems beta is what I will need now.
