I have a Pioneer 106x 16x DVD player and a video card with TV-out (MSI 831 geforce2 64 MB), but although the picture is pretty sharp on my 20" TV playing a DVD I'm not satisfied because the picture is a giant square - I'm losing around 1.5" at each side of the screen and some at the top and bottom. So, I'm thinking about a dedicated DVD/MP3/CD player. I don't care about the CD, but good satisfying features for DVD playback and good MP3 support would be real nice. I have a portable iRiver SlimX MP3 player that has nice support for MP3s in directory structures. But the DVD players I see advertized don't appear to support that. I don't see any kind of display with most of them - no LCD on the remote and no LCD on the player. Can I get recommendations? Thanks.
