I just ordered a very cheap dvd rom drive, but also found out after that it only has a 128KB buffer... is this going to spell trouble? BTW, the ram to dvd access time is 115ms
 
Should be ok. I think that the buffer comes into play when your drive has trouble reading data, but you computer buffers the data as well, so I highly doubt you'll have any issues.
