I have me an imation/plex scsi 8x20 cdr and a toshiba 1401 scsi DVD. The toshiba is terminating, as is the card (2930c, came w/ the imation/plex). Lately, the dvd drive has stopped working after time. The drive is present, and windows sees the drive, but no matter what I put in, nothing is detected.
Now, one thing is, the scsi cable (50 pin) has been "rounded" or cut every 5 wires i believe. I thought this might be a problem, but then wouldn't that cause a problem w/ the cdr then??
A reboot will cure the problem. running win2k..
