DVD Decoder

Neither of my OEM DVD burners will read a DVD. I get an error message that says a DVD Decoder may not be installed. Do I need to buy a third party DVD Decoder? I can't find them on the manufacturer's website. They read audio CDs, and the Pioneer will burn audio CD's, but I also cannot get the Samsung to burn a CD. (Pioneer DVR 111D & Samsung SH-S182M). What do I need to do guys? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, n7. Do you use this and do you think it will enable me to burn with the samsung drive?

I would really appreciate some more feedback. This is my first build and it went pretty smoothly, thanks to the help I've received here on this forum! I have a couple bugs to work out, though, and I'm clueless despite my searches.
