DVD combo drive problem, help...

guys i'm just wondering why in the past year I had bought 2 dvd combo drives because one broke after the other... I don't seem to get the point on what is wrong with my system...

my first drive went dead after 6 months, so i bought another one which is also dead now...

what may seem to be the problem on why this always happens? I don't always burn cd/dvd all the time...

Could be the PSU or maybe just cheap drives.

Try a different drive in the slot attachment on the baord and see if it messes up. If not, then you can see if it is the PSU or cheap drives.

I use an LG dvd combo drive... there is no other slot attachment because it still is an IDE drive...
