DVD codecs? - best place to download?

I'm trying to play DVD's in my HTPC and I need DVD codecs. Best place to get them?

cccp or k-lite codec packs should have everything you need.

ive always just used Dscaler. packs have a lot more than you often need just to play back a DVD

K-Lite Mega Codec Pack is very good. I just use VLC Player, makes playing DVD's easier without hassles.

You can also try the Windows Essentials Media Codec Pack 1. It's completely free (open source) and it works with almost everything out there.

But +1 for VLC Player.

CCCP and the K-Lite pack are the two that I see all the time. I personally use CCCP and have absolutely no problems with it, but some people say K-Lite is a bit better.

I use CCCP, just because some say that k-lite is sometimes bundled w/ malware.
