DVD/CD-RW not working

I recently built a new PC and installed one of these:

Everything was working normally until this morning I noticed the drive was not recognizing that a CD was in the drive. I tested it with a blank CD and a DVD game and neither were being read. Any time I double clicked on the drive in My Computer the drive would open and ask I inseret a CD.

Any possible ideas?
 
There might just be some dust in there. Try blowing it out with some air. Otherwise, try updating the driver and see where that gets you.
