Hi guys
Can any body explain this situation for me, appreciated:

I have sony extranel dvd-rw, being using for quite some time. During burning process, without burning it went on for couple hours doing nothing. Mind you, I could watch dvd movies instead and nothing else.

Sys: Dell
OS:w2k with 512 ram
